The Mission of the Department is viewed as a partnership drawn on the premise that our product, law enforcement, is one service to all citizens with special focus toward solving real and perceived problems within the community. 
  

Authorized 17 officers, due to budget cuts, department has 13 officers: Consists of Chief, 2 Detectives, 3 Patrol Sergeants, 8 patrol officers.
    1 Administrative Assistant/E-911 Coordinator
    4 full time E-911 communications officers and 1 part time E-911                 
    communications officer.
    1 full time animal control officer and 1 part time animal control officer
    1 part time Code enforcement officer

Chief Brian Thomas
Brian Thomas was named Chief of Police in April of 2009.

Chief Brian K. Thomas started his law enforcement career in 1993 as a reserve deputy with the Tillman County Sheriff's Office. In 1997 he became a full time officer with the Frederick Police Department. In 1999 he wanted to return closer to his hometown of Stillwater and was hired by the Noble County Sheriff's Office. Brian worked as a deputy until 2004 when he was appointed as Undersheriff for Noble County. September 1, 2006 Brian was offered the Assistant Chief of Police position with the Perry Police Department. Brian has more than 1000 hours of continuing law enforcement training and is a Cleet instructor and has obtained his Intermediate Law Enforcement Certification. Brian is a member of the Perry Country Club and The Chamber of Commerce. Brian's interest are playing golf and spending time with his family.
